HELP! Need Backup of Scarlet Spiral, Killing Time

Remember when we thought GreatestJournal was going to die, and so we moved Fallen Leaves to InsaneJournal, and we made backups of Scarlet Spiral? Well some people did. Ki did. I couldn't because LJarchive is Windows only and I'm on a Mac. GJ remained online and we all settled down, only now it's gone. Really gone. And Ki's backup is also gone,

Dang. That really, really sucks.

I have the Ayumi threads I did in SS, but that's hardly any of the threads in there. Let me know if you want a copy of them...though can you open Word documents? That's the format they'd be in.

Oh no, I was planning on going back and reading some of those awesome threads again! That was some of the best writing I've seen in any fandom... I am very sad at this.

I can't make any promises, as the backups are on the drive that failed on me and I haven't yet tried to recover, but I may have backups of Spiral up to the time when I quit.

These are still LJarchive though, sorry :( However, it has an "Export to HTML/XML" function which might be more help to you if I can just figure out how to use it. I'm working on that part.

Edit: Okay, there's now a RAR in there that has all of scarlet_spiral and scarlet_mods as individual HTML files (i.e. one per entry -- hopefully a good search program can help you sort through it) and I also uploaded XML files of both backups just for the heck of it (you can use them on the LJ Book site). I just realized I forgot to save our userinfo though :( Ah well, at least we have the important stuff.

You are my absolute HERO, Loren. Thank you SO much. I'm considering going through, editing every thread into log files, and recreating a Scarlet Spiral Archive on some server somewhere. It will be a huge task, but at least approachable, thanks to your awesomeness. Let me know what you think of the idea.

oh man, that would be quite an undertaking @_@ I think it would be amazing if you actually wanted to put in all the time, but it might be a lot of work for comparatively little reward.

I remember Momo saying she'd backed them up, too, back when I was making the index and I was wondering if we should grab them. Around the time they took down cuts and icons, because we were worried about exactly this. >.> So check--I think she should have stuff. :D
