I went to bed last night in a schizophrenic state of elation over Obama's win, and despair over Proposition 8's passing. And I woke, not surprisingly, to find many of my friends are deeply hurt by the passage of Proposition 8. I won't deny my own hurt. I'll admit my tears. But I have not lost hope

The legal challenge is already filed. Any idea if it has a chance of working?

Anyway, you amaze me and you were a huge role model for me in getting out there and at least doing a tiny bit in NC. We will live to see equal rights for all, regardless of orientation. And when this next generation comes of age the balance will tip, so it shouldn't be too long.
