Some is a Grue-human hybrid of sorts. Structurally human, with the exception of his large, hypersensitive eyes and sharp, carniverous teeth, but cellularly Grue. With few exceptions, he cannot lose consciousness. Sedatives merely paralyze him. He's terrified of ice, bright lights, being eaten, and being paralyzed.
He can eat almost anything, but derives no nourishment from anything except human flesh, which much be either consumed alive or well-cooked.
