Wonderful, down-to-Earth, and real. Your Sam is perfect--all logic and flawed intuition, and Jack is just so patient, letting her come to the right answer on her own without really knowing how it'll work out, but willing to hang in there for the ride.

It's so quiet, but so packed. Gah! And the last bit, it's just...so comfortable. And nice.

Aww, thank you. We always see Sam so completely successful at things she does at work and yet so completely unsuccessful in relationships that I wanted to try to sort through that a bit. I'm so glad it worked!

“I don’t know, Carter,” he says. “But I’ve always liked Vegas.” He kisses the side of her head. “Call girls, gambling. Really, what’s not to love?”

She’ll hit him later, when she’s not so relieved.
