Because I've had a couple people already ask me a couple questions, I figure I might as well address them, and tack this up so that people can keep asking questions as they come up.
That's fine. I totally understand that Real Life Happens. If you're unable to complete it, contact me; since the stories have to be at least at the 20k mark by the time the rough drafts are due in for artist selection, you should know at least a few weeks ahead of that if you're going to be able to finish or at least reach that mark.
OK this is completely random, sorry but I was just checking a few of the rules for this and then I saw your name and I realised that I knew you, but I hadn't realised before...if that makes sense :) You're added over at my writing journal loveangelsiri and you're a Hufflepuff over at HiH. Well hai!!! How have I not noticed this before? Lol, so yea sorry about the randomness *slips off back to where she came from*
If you're past the 20k mark but your story isn't 'completed' is that still okay once posting starts? Or does the story have to be pretty much finished except for like a few chapters (not just like half-way through the story!) by the time posting starts?
Your story must be completed, in its entirety, before your posting date. It should be beta'd--I recommend at least three times (once after the first draft is done, once after your final draft is done, and then a final one before your posting date)--and done from start to finish.
If your story is hugely long and still not done by within a week of your posting date, go through and cut out as much unnecessary filler as you can. This is my executive opinion. You can always add things in after you've submitted it and re-release it elsewhere on the internet.
Artist can pick as many stories as they feel capable of taking on, and as many pieces as they would like for that particular story. This being said, if you take more than one story, you should probably limit how many you do for each, so no one is left hanging.
