This is absolutely precious. Everything about this story is so lovely, from the muse idea - I love how James is so... I'm searching for the right word. It's not that Teddy's his master or anything it's just that he belongs to Teddy. He does. He's the small spoon, the one who gets shown around.
It's wonderful. I love seeing James like this.
A unique idea, combining painting and cooking and making that so linked to the story. The muggleAU bit was fun, even if I kept thinking, why doesn't James just Apparate?! :P
The snow painting was described so beautifully I have that image in my head and now I want someone to go paint it :) I loved the fact that Teddy sold the other paintings, because he can, what was it?, "always see them anyways" or something. So pretty.
A wonderfully crafted story. Your grammar's a little off in places but heaven knows in a story that long it's to be expected. Also, the use of 'hum' -> is that a term you use often? I've never heard it before is all :D
