I love how there's still a faint echo of childhood in here: James's habit of making forts, Albus's heroic attempt not to cry while saying goodbye to James, James's rather adolescent nervous reaction to Ted; they play a rather nice contrast with the 'steamier' details, like the charity calendars (oh boy, I will buy the SHIT out of those calendars) and intercrural sex in a fort (!) We also see James here moving to his own flat, the transition between childhood and adulthood, and I love that Ted thought it was finally the best time to have his way with James--in the fort. Haha. I really really like the juxtaposition of childhood innocence with steamy details here. It's perfect for the prompt and you managed to find that perfect balance.
Defo adding this to my memories. <3
Also, did you notice that I was using more polysyllabic words than usual? What's wrong with me?

thank you so much for your lovely comment <3 I don't even think I was consciously doing all that, except for the transition-to-adulthood part (which is why i started the fic in the middle of moving james out). :D I like to think that Teddy is a bit of a big child himself, so the two of them fit together just perfectly. <3 (and the calendars! I wish they were real...)

Only if you say the magic word. ;D

haha, I think a certain Potter might object to that in the long run. XD

"Yeah?" James asked.
"Yeah," Teddy confirmed and James swooped down to kiss him again.
Very sweet! The dynamics between them, Al and James and Lily, and the little bits about Harry and the calendar were fun :D
Lovely.
