Thanks for the review. I'm dying to see the new movie. You're right that ED 1 ends with Ash sorta dying, and in ED 2, he only shows up with his girlfriend. In the first movie, it's just an old, abandoned cabin in the woods. There's no mention of ownership. I sorta assumed that Ash and Scott discovered it, or perhaps, heard about it. It could have also been Professor Raymond Knowby's cabin as I don't recall if the movie mentions whether or not he owned it or was just renting or whatever.

The idea that they could be linking the two films and making an AoD sequel excites me. :D
