Thursday: I got up around 2 am to finish packing for MFM on about 3 hours sleep. Had been sick to my stomach with a moderate migraine, but I wasn't going to cancel my first vacation in almost a year. Finished packing my fursuit and clothes around 3am, then left for the airport at 4am. The flight to Newark left at 6:30, arrived there around 9, ( Read more... )

Yea for sure. Looks like hotel reservations aren't going up until Feb, quite awhile from now.

Duncan was still suiting on the Tuesday after the con!? What, does he have a built in refrigeration system and a bathroom in there?

I think I saw him with his head off once throughout the entire con, and even then it wasn't long enough to give much of a description beyond "white guy."

Haha yep...it was pretty much just Duncan and 1-2 other furs left on Tuesday. I was starting to think maybe it wasn't a suit at all but if you saw him with the head off I'll take your word :P

Well, I think I saw him with the head off, but it's kind of hard to tell with all of those balloons in the way. :P

Seriously though, I sat next to him in Antimon and Pandaguy's room for about an hour on Saturday, and even then he never took the head off or talked while in the suit. He just kind of pantomimed whenever he needed something.

Yea seemed we met more in the headless lounge than anywhere which is a tough place to talk. Can't say if I'll be back to MFM yet or not but I'm sure I'll see you around :)

It was great suiting and hanging with you around the con. Don't feel bad about the dance - that music was almost undanceable - formless ambient with no beat? Come on.

Yup, you were seduced into Lauren's room and we have the pictures to prove it ;)

You are one lucky/crafty gal - some grrls go a decade without a suit as cute as yours - and here you make a splash at your first con!
