And thanks for writing that. It makes me feel better knowing that everyone on my friends list who's talked about the issue is OK with the not-a-mosque community center.

IF they can build a FUCKING MALL AT THE SITE ITSELF, then there can be a Mosque 2 blocks away.

I'm not American and have never been to New York but it does seem kind of apt, from outside... There's little more American than a mall, to the rest of the world.

Edit: n. will likely realise this, but not everyone knows me - that's an ironic kind of apt, not a good kind.

The WTC had a mall at its base. There is nothing wrong with rebuilding it there.
