midnightstation just bought a travel case for his lights. It is an UBER travel case. This same case is used by the Military in combat, because it is so strong. It is waterproof - as in, you can throw it into the ocean from a plane, and it will float with your stuff in it, AND your stuff will be dry, provided you survive the fall and are able to get to land with

I love love love my Pelican case. They are the BEST cases EVER. And, yeah, they have a sense of humor about themselves, which is always a fine quality. :) My travel case has gone many, many places with me, and my equipment is always in great shape. Plus the wheels and handle are REALLY well designed.

They came out with a special case after the no-checked-liquids-on-planes rule got passed that is specifically for safely packing half a case of wine under the plane. That is just so hot. :) If I ever go on any significant kind of wine trip, I am definitely getting one of those.
