It has occurred to me more than once that proximity to Union Square is actually a fairly important factor in choosing my new full-time job. Especially since I'm so painfully aware right now of how little time I have to get over there. The next time I can feasibly imagine getting to the market is a week from Saturday, and that makes me sad. Especially the part where it means getting up EARLY on Saturday to avoid the crowds. But I want my marketing back.
Admittedly, if I worked near Haymarket, it would be easier for me to shop there. But I get the sense that most of the produce isn't really local anyway.
Still, farmer's market season is coming to Boston. W00t!

I mean, we have Haymarket all year round, but the local markets don't open until May. Late. May.
