By a healthy margin in Wisconsin and a stunning margin in Hawai‘i!
I will not be surprised if he wins a majority in Texas.
Over the months of the primary, I feel like Clinton’s campaign has been buffetted back and forth, reacting in a panic to events, but Obama’s campaign has been just consistently doing what it planned to do from the start, and having it succeed, bit by bit. Speaks well for Obama’s ability to head a large complex organization.
There is a HUGE grassroots "Texans for Obama" movement going on. I have a lot of friends taking part in it, of course. :) I have high hopes for it.
It also helps that the Texas primary system is COMPLETELY insane (there is a primary AND a caucus), and one of the ways that information is being spread is through that grassroots movement. So I'm actually hoping that more Obama supporters know about the arcane process than anyone else. (Since the board of elections isn't actually sharing the information clearly, which is just SCARY.)
*cheers* I was totally checking election returns from my blackberry at the concert I was at last night :) (not actually while the main act was on but definitely before the show started and again between acts).
