Hello - I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long it might take to get from 125th and Lex to Laguardia Airport on the M60.  My mom is coming into town next Wednesday, and wants me to meet her at the airport.  I'd rather use the bus than take a taxi...  unless it's going to take an absurdly long time, then I'll just spend the money.  If it ( Read more... )

I've done this a few times. Of course it depends where on 125th you catch the bus (how far west you are, et cetera) but I'd say on average it's 30 minutes, give or take traffic/rush hour, et cetera.

In rush hour, I'd say about an hour, maybe an hour and 15. With no traffic 40-45 minutes, maybe less. My suggestion is to take the bus. It's not worth the cab fare unless you have a lot of things to carry with you.

I would agree that it's 30-45 minutes. It's $2.00 versus the $20 alternative. The time is *almost* the same; a little longer on ze bus.

I do this all the time and would allocate an hour on a weekday at 4PM. It really depends most (in my humble opinion) on how long it takes to catch the bus at 125 and hit the FDR.

also in favor of the bus. i have gone at all hours, and it never took more than 30 minutes.
