Hm... Apparently you can import your content from LJ on this site.

I could potentially import my fic journal. I could potentially import years of entries. I could potentially have two eras of online journaling in one journal. Also, tagsIs importing LJ content worth sacrificing the blank slate of DW, though ( Read more... )

I recently did this, and proceeded to not use DW much. It's not the platform's fault, it's just that my life has me going in 50 directions at once, and I don't have the energy for a blog. I *do* like that I could preserve posts I made 10 years ago, along with the comments made. (At the very least it's a backup if LJ goes down suddenly.)

Last I checked, a lot of people were jumping over to DW. But I'm missing the vibe that LJ had in the early 2000s.
