[Amuro is standing on that hanger scaffolding as usual. Behind him is the ReGZ, currently covered by a large industrial tarp- He's gives the maintinane crew a few more instructions, and then the tarp is drawn back- last minute field repairs and upgrades have given the mech a much greater resemblance to it's predecessor.]

Apart from an overall performance tune-up, the biggest change is the Back-Weapons-System... It's built in now, rather than being a separate component. It should make high-speed battle just a bit less complicated.

The ReGZ was always a scaled down version of your Zeta, Simplified so Anaheim could mass produce it.

Since they've decided not to, it's been brought back in line with the original. ...Minus a few systems, of course.

Exactly. Even if we had time to install one, ReGZ was never designed for it. There's no way of knowing if it'd even work.

I don't think so, either.

My father was the engineer who created the V-Project mobile suits. -I probably took after him. Before the war started, most of what I did involved computers and machines.
