JANUARY

Our plans keep on changing

As we’re growing older

A different city always gets in the way

We were living in a nice home in Saskatoon. I spent quite a bit of time seeing friends in January, and I was driving back and forth to Edmonton for work most of the time. I did a lot of stuff purging - I’ve been doing it all 2014 in fact. I started ( Read more... )

-15 different kinds of soups even exist??
-I want to hear more about this "Breakout" place! Sounds crazy! ... Okay I just read all about it on their website. Twyla, next time we come to Edmonton, we have to go!! :D
-Do you ever go play games at Tabletop Cafe?
-Aw bummer, I'm sorry you aren't meshing well with the landlords!! And living in a small place IS hard!
-You make your brown cow with root beer? That's like some kind of brown calf, a kiddie version of the real brown cow, which is a glass of milk and a shot of Kahlua :D Hahaha at least as far as I know! My brother only drinks a "brown brown cow," which is Kahlua and chocolate milk.
-Six different games!? Wow, way to go :D Sure wish we could have been there!!

There are a LOT of kinds of soups.

Hmmm, let's see if I can talk about 15 off the top of my head...

Beef Barley
Lemon Rice
French Onion
Beet Borscht
Beef and Veggie Borscht
Butternut Squash
Corn Chowder
Broccoli Cheese
Cream of Potato Bacon
Creamed Cauliflower
Cream of Chicken
Chicken Noodle
Tomato Basil
Roasted Red Pepper
Italian Wedding

That's just off the top of my head for soups I've eaten and found to be the best. It doesn't count seafood soups, or most of the soups with pork as a main meat... I am, honestly, a tad fanatical about soup...

I will chat about Breakout more when we meet!

I haven't been to the TableTop Cafe lately, but it's high on my list in the coming few weeks.

Brown cow has many varieties. Mine is the "shirley temple" variety.

We'll play games soon! Would you like to escape death by zombies with me soon?
