Now I'm sunny with a high of 75
Since you took my heavy heart
And made it light
It's funny how you find you enjoy your life

Heh, I thought it would be a chance of pace from the no-loss Star Trek heroes. =)

Beating around the bush and telling me how awesome I am in the same scenario never fails to make me livid. I know I'm flawed too. Just don't give me crap. Oy.

In my class we weren't allowed to have cute photos. (Prof Stefan Lauzon.) One time someone brought a picture of their kid, and everyone said "Awww," and he said "THAT's why you're not allowed to bring cute photos! People gush instead of thinking!"

You thought Idlewild was one of the best books you've read in the last few years? Gee, I liked it, I found it a really fun read, but I didn't think it was terribly meritorious, especially since it ripped off other people. (Even though it did it better than the originals, which is definitely worth something.)

Interesting. I didn't want that one, I wanted the one where the wolf-dog looked scarier. I just didn't have time to wash the negative for that one.

You forget, Ricki, that I really don't care if people rip off other people. I have nothing but respect for talented forgery. As long as you don't try selling someone a fake Monet for a million or something. The fact that you consider Eragon a rip-off was not what made me decide not to read it or see the movie, it was more the fact that everyone said it sucked.

Nice seeing you tonight...

I'm not complaining THAT much. Like I said, doing better what has been done before is worth something. Unfortunately, Eragon didn't do it better, it did it worse.
