you don't know me; and i don't know you; but i can't help but be unsettled what you wrote. i for one must admit that my eyes were opened to the aids crisis, and I am one of those; what you would call naive Christians who would rather not get involved in politics; who know that there's a plight out there, but have no idea what it demands of me. the focus challenged me greatly, but really I am still seeking what it is I can do besides give money for the cause; since that is probably the least that is demanded of me. I think part of it ... that we cannot reconcile; as one who has never had first-hand experience of AIDS, is that I really don't understand. No matter how much is exposed before me; how much I read; how much I see; how much God convicts me, unless God brings me thru something that is as parallelly painful as AIDS, I will never understand. With that in mind, what is it that you want us to understand? What is it that wasn't addressed that contributes to God's plan of wholeness of the earth? Write me at icthus@phreaker.net ( ... )
