HAHAHAHAHA!!! I've definitely been dreaming DH a lot lately as well, but unfortunately nothing quite so coherent... more things like my friend Ryan coldn't be placed in a house (between Slytherin and Gryffindor, apparently), so they gave him a space in a hallway in the basement. First years were always bothering him, and he became depressed. I have no idea.
Aw, that's kind of sad, a bit. Don't you think? That's like Harry feeling like a house for people who felt a bit queasy was where he should go. :( *sends hugs to Ryan*
lol! He thought it was hysterical, actually... but then, he's never even read a Potter book! I plan to remedy that soon.
Can I just say that the thing that has stuck with me the most from your dream is that the bowtruckles were helping you? I find that way cool. There is no way you/Harry would lose that way! :) *pictures bowtruckles goudging Voldie en masse*
I think I totally made the bowtruckle bit up. They're tree guardians who live in wand trees, but we've got no canon to suggest they have anything to do with actually making wands. I'd have to guess Ollivander gets on with bowtruckles a bit better than Harry does!
I had been listening to OotP in the van earlier in the day, to chapter 33 where Harry and Hermione lead Umbridge into the woods. After they escape the centaurs, Harry kicks a tree in frustration and a bowtruckle up above shakes its fist at him. I'd never spotted that before -- but I'm guessing that's where the dream came from. Who knows?
