What is this Sirens thing that you keep mentioning?

I assume most of you have, at some point or another, heard about Sirens, either from me directly or from all the LJ, newsletter and facebook blasts the lovely narrate_hallie has been sending. If not: Sirens is an awesome conference on women in fantasy literature put together by awesome people for awesome people, so if you're an awesome person you should listen

Faery-themed wedding in Vail it is then! (not your wedding though... we've discussed this... it would create complications and I'm already a terrible liar!)

As for programming... I love both your ideas, especially the expectations re: Pamela Dean. Finding more people who found it a similar reading experience to mine would be reassuring. And yes, before you remind me I am still trying to flesh out my own idea. :P

BTW I stuffed so many envelopes at my internship today i have papercuts all over my knuckles :(
