Hi. Brad here. Long time no post. Lately I tend to stay locked up in my cave hacking on stuff that's boring for most people, but I thought I'd emerge for this annnouncement... (and also because Krissy's on vacation. :-))

We actually started talking about this feature 4.5 years ago and now it's finally going public.

* Removing the old notification system, because right now they overlap in parts, and it's possible for you to get duplicate notifications if you register for subscriptions in both ways.

I get two emails a lot- "___ responded to your post" and "___ responded to your entry"

I assumed it was a bug. I'm not fretting too much over it though. :)

Yeah, it sucks, but it was the least painful migration path. It'll get cleaned up soon enough.

Hitting the archive/delete button for the second one isn't hard, and I'd be really surprised if a lot of people complain about something as small as this.

I know seriously! Everyone's complaining about it, but I love seeing a list of entries like
"Cindy's relationship status went from 'single' to 'in a relationship'" and "Cindy left the group 'True Love Waits'"

It amuses the hell out of me.
