Changes in The LiveJournal Shop

We have an important announcement for you.

Starting from March 25, all LiveJournal payments will be conducted in Russian rubles. For user’s convenience, the approximate US Dollar equivalent will be shown in the LiveJournal shop interface and in the shopping cart.

Don't worry, you can still pay by any bank card from any country.

The much bigger change here is that we are no longer able to use PayPal. That means I won't be able to renew my account and will lose my extra userpic space, the main reason I'm still on LJ. A heads-up would have been nice.

Right? I'm still here for making and sharing icons. A lot of the community is still on LJ despite the migration over to DW.

Have hung in here for 17 years through all the misery and stupid because I have friends who are creatures of habit but - no PayPal? Oh come on, don't be ridiculous. That's my last renewal then, I'm not giving them my credit card details.

Payments by cards are secure as well, corresponding with international standards.
