Sooo... is this actually a safe app to use? Or do we have to worry how you're going to use the data you farm from the new app? I mean... You lied about switching to HTTPS in your recent security breech blog (which you only disclosed because you were hiding it from the public and got outed by two larger companies), so how can we trust you?
I'll give it a shot, but the reviews so far are not awesome...
This is what I got after a few minutes of fiddling around: First I tabbed on the profile, and that weirdly opened up in the phone's browser - why wouldn't it open in the app itself? Then I tabbed on Messages as there appeared to be new ones and it was just spam from people I don't know (the "if you're looking to make money online open this link" kinda messages). They appear only in the app, not in my inbox. How does this happen?
On the plus side I like that it's possible to use filters instead of seeing everyone/every comm I ever friended. I also like the way my own posts appear, and didn't see that paragraphs become separate entries as some other users have remarked. Haven't tried posting yet, though.
--- Edit: The spam messages do appear in the inbox too, they're just filtered away under "suspicious messages" (rightly so!). Maybe this can be done for the app as well?
