April 30, 2012 - Scrapbook, LiveJournal’s exclusive photo-hosting feature for Plus, Paid and Perm accounts, is being replaced by...Scrapbook. In a continuing effort to improve site features and performance, LiveJournal is planning a complete overhaul of Scrapbook. The “new and improved” Scrapbook is expected to go live within the first half of May

Will we still have custom themes and colors for the scrapbook?

I don't like the glaring white.

Agree. I like the customization.

I used the LJ scrapbook for photo uploads and continued to pay for a paid account because of the custom theming of my scrapbook gallery. I really really hope custom theming will be brought back, I would rather it be integrated with the colors of MY livejournal page rather than the livejournal SITE.

Frowning really hard right now now that my gallery has been changed over and I lost my custom theming.

I hear you. It's the only msjor thing that's keeping me from going over to DW for good. I really liked how my scrapbook was set up and that after many hours of learning it.
