Update on Release 88

Thank you for your continued feedback about our latest release.  Today, we have some small updates to share with you:
  • A patch has been released that should address a few of the major bugs with expanding comments, as well as other Ajax features. This should help with some of the functionality issues some of you have been experiencing.

WHAT THE HELL, LJ.

Someone on Plurk alerted me to this: two out of my 3 paid accounts SUDDENLY AND MYSTERIOUSLY have been turned on to automatic billing. I have never done autopay for you guys; I never would.

It's one thing to screw us out of features, LJ but this is a bridge just too damn far.

No, I assure you that's not it. I have NEVER in over a decade of LJ, ever enabled automatic payments. EVER.

And it's not just me; several of my friends who use paypal have noted that suddenly theirs has been turned on, too. So, maybe you think I might be a flake who 'forgot' that I agreed to autobill my RP accounts, but I really think that the five of my friends (at least) who noticed that this has also happened to them--we can't ALL be flakes.

ALSO, please to forgive the default icon. You know why. :)

No, no, I don't think you're a flake at all. I've heard this from too many people today. Did they have your credit card info? Can you contact billing anyway to see wtf is going on and see if you get an answer? I'm curious.

Before I satisfy your curiosity I am busy cancelling this credit card, because yeah, there's no way they should have my cc information, but they did. CUTE HUH?

So, my card is 'stolen' as far as I'm concerned, since someone who does not have my authority has access to it. When I get that squared away, and the card is dead, I will amuse myself by trying to get a straight and quite possibly bullshit answer from LJ about the billing.

...and yet the staff member is going around saying that there's no way they could have that info? What the fuck. I was going on that information, I'm so sorry if I sounded insensitive there, I certainly did not mean to. I really don't know what to say.
