Thank you.

I just tried it and it hid the clickable repost elements beautifully.

Thanks so much for this. I'm almost totally computer-illiterate, and very very grateful for the not-a-fix.

It's not working for me. I have to say I don't understand this at all -- I just copied and pasted (and did your suggestion the second time).

I feel so incredibly stupid, because I've tried every CSS code suggestion I've found (each time, logging out and backin) and still can't get rid of that stupid thing.

At this point I think it would just be easier to either change my standard privacy to "just me" or individually go into each post and block comments.

Personally, I can't understand why, with a 97% disapproval rating (at least according to the poll I saw), why LJ hasn't removed this "tool" already?

Thank you.

I really, really hate this cross-posting. I keep my FB under my real name and my real co-workers are on there. I don't want to LOSE MY JOB because of someone crossposting something I said about politics.

THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE "FEATURE".

I am seriously considering canceling my paid account because of this.

Thanks, mate. Precisely what I needed, until this ludicrous feature gets an actual 'disable' function.
