Considering that your servers are proving barely functional for regular use, so much for all that back up work you were doing for a la carte userpics, eh?

What's even better is paying money for a site that has been more or less broken for a month now. It would have been nice if you guys didn't wait weeks to even address the issue.

I keep renewing my membership here because I actually like what the site provides over all, and I know that makes me a chump, considering that you guys never fail to drop the ball and irritate me to no end.

I actually see you guys didn't even address the site speed and functionality issue here. I know that there is a maintenance journal, but don't you think what was shared in the post there is "important", considering this affects just about everyone? I'd say server moves are pretty important. Not to mention the dozens of other bugs and issues people have been having recently.

But no, I guess the plight of Frank the goat is much more important "news" then any of that.

They are. I think there are a few kinks that need to be worked out and I don't know when those will be or if they are fixed.

I remember asking marta a while ago if she knew why the site has been so slow lately and being disappointed when she ignored me entirely (since I thought she was one of the few that cared about the userbase). I wish companies like this understood how important customer service is. This is a legitimate concern and not something to ignore and hope it goes away.

Here's hoping the fixes will help with ontd and LJ as a whole, considering things have been a little touchy lately.
