Over the past few months, we've been working hard to respond to all of your requests from the past year or two regarding what you want out of a social networking and blogging site. We consulted with a cutting-edge market research firm and concluded that no one really wants to read more than 140 characters about what their friends are doing.

Says you. Personally, I dislike having to click a damn cut if I want to read something. If I have to wait for the site to reload up, it's not worth my effort.

I'm sorry, but I don't really want my flist to turn into a Twitter feed. Is this going to be optional?
Sure, super long entries are annoying, but it's just as annoying to have to open another page to read everyone's entries.
