When LiveJournal, Inc., was launched in December the new team made it very clear that LiveJournal was going to change. We also said that we would respect the values and legacy of LiveJournal. Either it's an extremely well planned out April Fool's joke, or, you don't believe it because Brad always said that Livejournal would never become what it has degenerated into (and will no doubt degenerate further).

That's great... except for the lack of apology for not informing us and then lying to us.

Also, no information about how you intend to improve.

For example, do you intend to consult with your employees who have experience and the advisory board you have created about the decisions you intend to make before you make them? And then even if you have to make the decisions, will you heed their advice about how to do so? At least strongly consider it?

What do you think you did wrong and how do you intend to do things differently? Without that information - this whole post just says - we're sorry you all got mad. It doesn't really tell us anything.
