"The noble spear-bearer crossed the river and went into the tent with the general's horses. They then went down to the sea where the soldiers were... doing calisthenics."

What about the one verb involving sodomy with a radish? I always liked that one! Oh, the Greeks. <3

I hear you. Especially at work.

Having little to do at work when you have a thousand things to do outside of work is majorly grumpy-making.

YES. I need to clean my apartment, finish my Yuletide, make my Christmas cards and pack for going home, and instead here I am stuck in productivity limbo. ARGH.

I KNOW. I want winter break to be over already so there are people in the lab to boss me around.

I want winter break to start so I don't have to come in for work at 9 in the morning and sit there with nothing to do for the next eight hours until I go home and don't have the energy or the concentration to do the things that needs to be done there!

Someday let me tell you about the time I had a friend fly into O'Hare and he didn't have a cell phone and I didn't have his flight information, so I had to run the length of the airport three or four times trying to find him. That was fun!

Hogod. O.o

Man, at this point I think I may just trek to my gate and nap for an hour. (Why a seven hour layover, Orbitz? Seriously, why you hating?)

I'm going to have to do that Friday. My plane leaves at 8 PM; work closes at noon. Go team scheduling!

I vote for the nap. Set your cell phone to wake you up or something!
