Seriously, he looked big enough to freaking EAT HER. I don't even mean that figuratively. She is tiny and he is HUGE.

And just. OH VIV. She has got to be playing him like a fiddle and I am SO WORRIED.

Really? Why so?

I'm really kind of grossed out that the series chose to go down the Sam/Ruby path.

Then I realized it was leading to Sam taking his clothes off, and I was like, "Well, okay then, whatever."

The size difference between them seriously freaks me out.

I mean... I'm always of the "wait and see what the writers are doing" camp? Even though it was CW-style sex, it didn't seem like they were endorsing it. (If that makes sense?) I think it's more indicative of how fucked in the head Sam's been than, you know, titillating. (I say it again, though, I am always bound and determined to try and see the narrative reason for a plot point. Plus I'm a hopeless optimist. So, I'm not... as grossed out by it as I imagine many people will be, and have been so far.)

That was more or less how I saw it, and I'm hoping that's the right interpretation; I'm just afraid that the narrative reason for this particular plot point is Ruby being the stock whore-with-a-heart-of-gold character and redeeming Sam with the power of sex.

Of course, if she goes the way of most of Sam's serious interests so far, we won't have to worry about her much longer.

I agree, especially since he was so hesitant until she started saying how it was 'bad' and 'naughty' and then he was all SEXPOUNCENAO. And while it was, of course, immensely satisfying to see shirtless yummy omg look at that gunshow Sam, it made me horribly sad, because it shows just how different our puppy is from the beginning of the series. Sammy should never act like that. But now he's bad and he likes it. Sigh. :(

Holy cow, fic already? That was fast!

Heh. I have to admit, I laughed when they kissed. Fanon becomes canon! Seriously, this season continues to be fanfic. I'm astonished.

And now I can buy the Ruby/Sam, whereas before I was so hesitant.

And I loved the other two Rubies a lot more, but I think that I like new!Ruby a little more now.

Also, can I say? I get shivers every time there's hints of Dean as the Epic Second Coming that will Lead Against Hell.

Yes. All of that. I just. Yes. (Dean's total discomfort at being the topic of Angel AM Radio will never not make me want to hug him. Not that I need much of an excuse in the first place.)

I wasn't terribly impressed with this episode, but NEXT WEEK'S is going to be mindblowing. I hope. *G*

Dean keeps making me want to cuddle him and never let go, and I'm VERY ANNOYED with him for it. *laughs*

There were some good moments, like THE DEAN (heehee!) and the grossed out tmi face. And of course Sammypants being all hot and smexy at us. Mmmm. ;-) But mostly I'm just waiting for next week. Oh, god. Why must the angels be so evil? *wibble*
