I just realized, JUST NOW, that the guy you fangirl is John Spencer of John Spencer Blues Explosion and I used to listen to them when I was in college, in like 1999.

The Blues Explosion actually released a "new" album this past fall -- a bunch of singles that were recorded for release on jukeboxes only. It is truly the shit, if you still like their sound.
