Interesting run tonight. It was the obligatory "Oh jebus, everything must go wrong before it goes very, very right!" rehearsal. Between losing bits of the set, bits of actors, bits of lines, and bits of costumes... well, Steve was still very, very happy. I am comforted by this

Tonight we did an Italian run--my first experience with one. It was hilarious...up to and including the part where I accidently knee'd 'Jason' in the manbits.

Italian runs! Those are awesome... er, except for incidents like that. Yowza.

It was fabulous! Right up until the bit in the last scene where I have to tell him for the 83rd time that his kids are *DED*. He was doing traditional Italian run over the top and delivered his line by yelling in my face...while taking one of my wrists in each hand.

It felt like one of those classic demo postures from a self-defense class--"Okay, ladies, now when he does this..."

Was not actually meaning to injure the state of his potential offspring, but I knee'd a little too far. In my defense, most guys dodge even when it looks like you're faking. Clearly he does not place much value on the family jewels.
