Hey, remember when Inception fandom got that incredibly gorgeous watercolor comic about Saito and Dream meeting in the Dreaming, and it was the best thing ever and everyone went bonkers with adoration?

I guess it's a norsekink fill -- I don't go there anymore, mostly because I spend most of my online time at work, and, well, that's one I don't particularly want in my browser history, alas.

Right? It makes me muppetflail and whine about how I wished I could draw. And then I... don't ever draw. Skill should just fall out of the sky with no effort on my part! But it's so wonderful to see.

Oh, that's just beautiful!

Having tried and failed to make comics work, hundreds of times over, I envy people with the patience and skill to do them, even short ones - and this is beautifully executed, too. Those background are fantastic.

Also, one of the innate charms of trickster characters is that they can pretty much pop up in any canon anywhere and it doesn't contradict their backstory (even if it might be a bit weird in whichever setting you're putting them in). SPN's trickster in particular, what with his fondness for dress-up, but Loki as well - makes them damn good crossover fodder.

That Sandman/Inception crossover is lovely too.
