Okay, guys, Dead Like Me is available on Hulu, and I cannot get over how much this show has made me cry in just three episodes. I love everybody so so much already. RUBE. Joy! Reggie! BETTY. ROXY. Keysmash. Keysmash. Keysmash ( Read more... )

DUDE SERIOUSLY. THE CRYING. Yet, the gleeful irreverence and cleverness of it all! I own both seasons but I haven't watched them in a while. I should revisit sometime.

It's kind of terrifyingly perfect. I mean, I adore Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies is delicious, but I feel like this one might have stolen all my heart for real.

I think it speaks immense truths about life and living and of course, its inevitable opposites. Plus a helluva lot about interpersonal relationships, because there were moments where I identified with George so hard. It's really, really incredible like that.

I love that show! After about the middle of the first season, I decided that you are actually Betty somewhere inside you. Except, y'know, not dead.

No--not a spoiler. It's just that as the show progressed I started learning more about her character, as will happen, and I came to my conclusion around the middle of the first season. That's all. I would never dream of spoiling it for you.

Ironically enough, watching episodes of Dead Like Me makes me want to live. George is one of my favorite fictional characters ever, because she's just -- herself. So awkward, regretful, hopeful, and just really real.

Okay, I realize you don't know who I am but I stumbled on your journal by accident and saw the three lovely words of, "Dead Like Me." I watched it ages ago when it came out on DVD {uncle bought it for my mom and I was always watching things I was too young for -.- } and trust me, it's so great. It does suck way too much that it only lasted two seasons and then some idiot decided to cancel it, but I'm sure you'll love every second and then want to die when it ends.

But, btw, when you finish the second season, I don't suggest buying or watching the movie they made AFTERWARDS. I did out of curiosity and it's not good.. It's not worth it.

Anyways, hope I haven't creeped you out at this point.
