Detour into the FUTURE!

Into 1962! Tonight was a friend's birthday party, with an early '60s theme. AWESOME. It seemed like the time to try something I've never attempted before: the beehive.

With the help of a YouTube tutorial, it actually turned out ( quite well! )

DAMN woman you look amazing! How do you manage to capture these retro styles so beautifully? :D

You and your spoon are too cute. *smish*

(Also, you have reminded me that I desperately need a hotass Christina Hendricks Mad Men icon. ;-)

Everyone needs more Christina Hendricks in their lives, as far as I can tell. <3

OH YOU. <3333333

That is some rocking hair right there, madame. Get down with your bad self, as they say.

Aw, thanks. Much more time-consuming than the victory rolls -- I like sleeping in too much to try this for work!

Shut up, I love your camwhoring. Never change. :D

Love the hair! Why are you so good at following those tutorials while I am so bad?

That's what I like to hear. ;) <333333

Thanks! Oh man, there's a lot you don't see -- like my horrific attempts to fry my hair while straightening it. I think I'm going for something '20s-y next: at least that's all smoothing and pinning. The less heat and teasing involved the better!

I am definitely into 20s hair right now. I need to actually spend some time trying crap out on my hair. I'll take a bad camwhorey pic and email you what it looks like at the moment.

I am pro-camwhoring! Which does rather beg the question of why I don't more, and honestly I know not.

Spoons are the best! Particularly when paired with the Nutella off-frame. :-D Thanks, darling!
