Okay, clearing out some tabs (the ones that aren't unread Yuletide stories) so I can go to sleep:
  • A truly hilarious BubbleTweet from our boy on the ground, DDub himself. Talk about your innovation in percussive instruments.
  • I want to be friends with her. She looks a little like if Amanda Palmer took over a pre-WWI Boy Scout troop.
  • This fic about ( Read more... )
  • big dorky exclamation pointy zen master, peer pressure was real (spn), link-mongering, fic rec, holy tax accountant

No worries. It seems the internet was wrong and I wasn't rude, so that's cleared up at least. *g*

Ooooh, you're right. That really is an interesting article. It's got me thinking--dun dun duuuun! XD Maybe this is just a Midwestern thing, but I've always gotten the impression that I'm slightly odd for, say, starting a conversation with the person next to me on the bus, or yakking with a stranger in a coffee shop. I've never really had the idea that my sort of openness is an American trait but then again, I'm very much viewing the whole thing through small town Midwestern glasses. Hmm.

Then again, I could also just be a chatterbox who needs to learn when to zip it. XD

No, I do that too! And it probably is a Midwestern thing in particular as well. I don't remember so many random conversations with people in other parts of the country, except the South.
