Haha, no one seems to know what to do with the "most telling fic" question. I didn't think the question was written with kinks expressly in mind, I thought it was for personal issues that unexpectedly emerged or were exposed via a fic, maybe.

I AGREE WITH THIS COMMENT. Also your Hogwarts analogy is a great one, because the way some fans are about deciding what House their favorite characters would be in is how I am about trying to decide what my favorite characters' daemons would be. Except it is about a billion times harder because there are only four Houses versus millions of species of animals.

Man now I want to do a prompt meme where everyone writes drabbles/ficlets about characters and their daemons.

I think it's fair to say I blame your fic and Skew's art for really getting me into BoB fandom (and rewatching canon a few more times; I really need to upload a BoB icon now, I think). I loved your with-daemons 'verse, but I also loved your "BoB-as-cats" storyline. (Is it ridiculous of me to wonder what a storyline would be like with Winters as a cat, rather than Nixon?)
