Christina's staying on, she commented at The Hostel, as well as showing some preview art on her Twitter/deviant art.

I'm pretty hyped about the new team on Runaways. I don't really care which Runaway dies, just as long as it isn't Molly, Klara, or Karolina.

Happy belated birthday! Cheesecake tarts, eh? Sounds delish. I went out with my mum and dad for a carvery dinner on Sunday because, y'know, Mother's Day and all that.

Happy birthday for yesterday! Sorry I'm a bad LJ friend.

I like the art, but I'll join you in cautious optimism since the book's... kinda fallen apart since BKV and Alphna left.

The trouble is, the book was so much a creator title, we were spoilt by having the same people working on it for so long and that gave the book strong focus. I know BKV always regarded the characters as his gift to Marvel, buut it's a gift they've mishandled. The book thrived under one team and long term planning and the shift in tone, setting and cast every time a new writer comes on board is so far removed from the stability of BKV's run, it hurts.

What I'd love is if the book settled on this creative team for the duration so they could plan long term, give the stories time to breathe, build up characterisation and not just swap and change every five minutes.

Yeah, it really does need a team thats willing to stick it out long term. Although I get the impression the reason Moore's run was so short was that he wasn't really clicking with it, and that if he had, he would have stayed longer.
