It's well and truly over at last, and I'm still a little sad, but I think I'm over the hump with the horrible withdrawal from the two week long skating high. The day after it ended I was so twitchy and irritable all day, I couldn't think of ANYTHING but skating. Honest to goodness, even COSTUMING seemed dull and pointless! I don't understand whey they always aired skating the very last thing every evening, it drove me crazy to have to wait all those hours! I'll never understand why they would push one of the Olympics' biggest attractions to a time slot when most people are in bed! But when I went to NBCOlympics.com they had videos of all the skating performances, so hopefully you could go there and watch what you missed! :)

I have no idea what's up with Evgeny Plushenko! He's become such a stereotype of the obnoxious, arrogant Russian figure skater. I used to like him when he was younger, but his skating has actually gotten worse as his ego inflates. It is kind of funny, at this point!

I'm looking forward to Sochi, too! And the next four years of skating in between! If all the skaters continue to be so awesome, it's going to be one heck of a ride!
