I'd have updated at some point anyhow--just hadn't thought of it recently. Although the geek boys here at work advise that you ask yourself what about any proffered update makes it an improvement.
I'm just appalled that Apple is obviously aware that there are problems with this upgrade and don't seem to care.
Your package is not in the mail yet, but I anticipate a Post office trip tomorrow.
itunes woes seem to be the theme of the week. I had to reinstall my OS and even though I backed up my library files, my music was on an external hard drive, so I had to import it all over again. I thought it would be easier. I'm up to the T's. :)

My music is on an external hard drive too. I told the prefs that the library was over there, but when it didn't immediately glom onto it, I did an "import folder to the whole iTunes music folder and it abligingly dumped 5100 sounds...but it didn't remember the playlists...
So I'm just recreating the playlists. I'm up to H...And I've found a few things that I thought were missing -- my my Roxy Music. Even though it's set to manual update, I haven't had the nerve to connect the ipod yet, and the video it will admit to having is Melina's "When I Go" --

Sorry to barge in, I saw your comment on the Lupin/Snape list and didn't want to post this there. This hasn't made the rounds of my flist, so maybe you haven't seen it? The guy's comment about Snape made me choke. :)
