the stuff i take are all triptans, which are specifically for migraines only. they are like, THE drugs to take when u get one. this time, it just plain didnt work. i could take Vicodin, lol, (*pictures Dr. House*) or some other weird drugs, but i think the other ones are mostly HABIT-FORMING lol.
one thing i DID love was VIOXX. Tom got a prescription for it when he had a problem with his wrist and it worked WONDERS on my headaches. i was going to get a prescription of my own and then they took it off the market. fjdkjkls. i mean, i dont want a heart attack, but it worked SO WELL. ;_;
and i would go so willingly to be a guinea pig if it meant they might figure out how to stop my pain. lol
DUUUUUDE omg i love you. i look for these occasionally, and i always find ones where it says under exclusion criteria "must not have more than 4 migraines a month" (which i definitely do, damn). but these i qualify for!!! well, except im not sure if i have that hole in my heart. i heard about it a while back being related to migraines but i never bothered to find out if it applied to me or not.
and i am SUCH a huge dork, but the Trexima one made me seriously jump up and down in excitement. i heard about Trexima maybe six months ago? idk, but i posted about it when i heard about it and omg, its so exciting. they basically made one pill do what i do anyway with a cocktail of stuff. to have it all in one pill is amazing. i would SO do that study, except i took anti-epileptics within the past 5 yrs, which is an excuding criterion. :( i took it for migraines though, not for epilepsy, so MAYBE it doesnt count.
dude im so going to look into this. you're my hero. *hugs you til you pass out*
Dude I LOL'ed at the Betty pooped on herself thing. No wait I ROFL'ed.
And I'm really sorry to hear about your migranes, I can ask my mom to get you something from Temple's pharmacy if you want. I'm sure she can either get it or get one of them to fill out a script for her. (She gets migranes herself).
"highbeam-hazard-blinker-rave" made me die also.
As soon as I go pee and brush my teeth, I'm going to sit and write you novels back to your emails.
