Kal walked with her horses, she kept a hand on Romeo's saddle as she passed through the town. Her other hand rested on her M & P's butt as she continued.

The town was a ghost town, but there was something alive in the shadows of the buildings and Kal could feel it, her eyes watching for that telltale green glow of light reflecting off the lenses in the eyes of feline, canine, and monsterous creatures that were not of this world.

Something moved nearby and Kal slipped the M & P into her hand, prepared to aim at whatever was out there.

After poking around outside the store for quite a while, he suddenly realized that he wasn't alone anymore, as he heard the disticnt sound of hooves against the asphalt. Horses? Here?

Were they alone, or...?

"Hello", he called out softly, finding a steel pipe that he picked up, just in case he had to defend himself against something.

"Hello," a voice called out and Kal lowered the M & P, while she didn't want to shoot someone, she had come across things that could talk that wanted to hurt her. Her memory showed her the face of a...well...zombie, that had sounded like an innocent child.

"I'm over here, I'm armed so come out slowly to where I can see you," Kal said calmly, even after the inncident with Victor and Tobias and the others, she wasn't nearly foolish enough to drop her guard.

Romeo snorted and knocked her forehead with his jaw as if telling her off for being stupid.

A female? Well. Fuji took a deep breath, put his hands up in the air and slowly stepped out of the shadows, giving her a faint smile. "I mean no harm", he said calmly, his almost feminine voice kept low enough to keep from scaring the horse.
