It's not that you're in the way. It's just that most of the PCs are currently involved in other threads.

You might want to have her actually ride up to the house where Victor and company are all hanging around, or stumble upon Adam, Jonas (and Xander?) and Jack. None of them are likely to run into your character at the moment.
