Hahahahaha, I just came back from a con where I was rooming with both a dude and a bunch of girls. They took the bed, and me and the other dude took spots on the floor. That's fairly normal, I'd say. I'd feel super-weird taking a bed or sharing a bed with a girl I wasn't dating, but I'm really old fashioned. (Chivalrous, maybe? LMAO) I'd feel wrong taking a bed with a girl around, I default to the floor or a cot. :V
It works sometimes but usually not just because that's the downside to the internet. I'm just glad it's so easy to make friends through the web and leave it at that for the most part! Buuuut at this point, I definitely say that meeting in person is a prerequisite for any real relationship. Not that I couldn't date long distance and correspond via the webernets, but I definitely need to have met them first. :V
