Our government is corrupt?

What to think? Do I step outside my bubble? Accept it as truth and research the matter? Or deny it as false and ignore it?

Which do you do?

And you wonder why I'm so cynical.

Is it truth? Is it hyperbole? Does it matter? Either way there's nothing you can do about it.

I think raising awareness would help. If a movement were started, if these things are substantiated by fact ... I'm sure blacks were told in the forties that "there's nothing they could do" about segregation and discrimination ... then they came together, marched and was like, "this is coming to an end."

Movements, right. Against things our government denies are happening even when presented with the facts, and when most governing officials can't seem to get anything useful across the table in the span of five months.

That stuff you get at grade school about writing letters to your senator to save the otters? Doesn't work.
