Liir was back in his room, a little more tan and a little more enamored of swimming. At the moment, however, he was mostly happy to be back and glad to see his puppy. Makejoy had obviously missed him as well, since she wouldn't stop bouncing, and Liir eventually had to pull out the bone he'd gotten her as penance just to make sure she didn't

Amber leaned a shoulder against his doorway. She was dressed in lounge pants and a thick hoodie. "I miss the hot weather," she stated by way of greeting.

"It'll be warm again in summer," he said with a smile before Makejoy ran over to see Auntie Amber.

She barely made it through the doorway before she dropped to the floor to give Makejoy plenty of attention. "Aww, I missed you sweetie."

To Liir she replied, "Summer is so far away." A few months was far.

"Only a few months. We're nearly to spring," he pointed out as he flopped on his own bed with a yawn.

"Mmm I'm glad to be back, honestly."
