Actually about the bike... yes the handle bars are fixed (Hip Based Turning System) so to maneuver on it the rider has to lean to make it turn... according to The Final Fantasy Wiki. It has the concept drawings and specs.
Then the Mako eyes and this genetic modifications. I'm actually apprehensive about it, but the the thoughts about the Mako eyes sounds entertaining.
The more I think about it: If I had those eyes, they could most likely change from dark brown to Orange or maybe Orange-Red.
Oh, OK. Either way, Fenrir is a lot more maneuverable (and sexy) - or maybe that's all down to Cloud - than the Tomahawk.
Hehe, the mice don't develop glowing eyes or anything. I was just playing it up with the picture, in fact that's not even a mouse, it's a rat. The mice just become stronger, faster, better by way of playing God. I totally understand your apprehension by the way, especially since the modified mice are more aggressive than they would be naturally... that's exactly what we need: Humans that are stronger, faster, and meaner. Obviously those scientists have never played FFVII... or ever seen a scifi film.
I think so, but with every advancement of technology, there has always been anticipation or fear about it that is expressed in fiction.
Biological experiments like what is a major theme in FF7, self-thinking computers... on story off the top of my head is Skynet from the Terminator movies... Oppressive governments and dystopia futures....
All this is expressed in writings and fictions or even pointed out in real life... then it comes to the debate of ethics and ability to accomplish the 'advancements'
XD I remember seeing the Tomahawk in the newspaper a year or two ago and thought it was super sexy. Not quite as sexy as Fenrir of course. At that point too though I really thought it resembled the Hardy Daytona.
The mouse thing is interesting. Makes me wonder how much food Sephiroth would eat. ^^;
Nothing is as sexy as Fenrir. It does resemble the Hardy Daytona, but technologically speaking it's more like Fenrir.
Oh, gosh. I bet most of the SOLDIER department's funds just went towards feeding those guys, though it does pretty much give credit to the "Shinra cafeteria food equals cheap, disgusting gruel" theory that most SOLDIER era fanfics use. No corporation could afford that much steak cuisine.
