Debate Question Regarding A FF8 Fic

I'm a bit late coming to this... oh well. It doesn't surprise me that most people have said Quistis, since that's the most popular Seifer/canon female pairing in my experience. I personally doubt that it would work - Quistis is insecure and she could do without the stinging insults that Seifer would likely direct at her. He doesn't seem to like or respect her either.

But unless Rinoa breaks up with Squall, which is unlikely, I can't think of any other canon female he would be well suited to. Does he have to be paired up? Can't he stay single? Just a thought. :)

And no, I don't usually read KH fanfiction.
